January 2025 – We are excited to welcome Dmitrius Dworek as our new Accounting Manager! Dmitrius brings years of valuable experience in accounting operations for small and mid-sized companies. He is skilled in budgeting and price point adjustments and is eager to apply his expertise to support the continued growth of our business.

In his role, Dmitrius will maintain strong vendor relationships, prepare financial statements, and collaborate with other departments to gather data and produce comprehensive budget reports. Other specific responsibilities include tax compliance, cost management, and payroll.

Dmitrius earned a bachelor’s degree in Financial Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and lives in Birmingham, Alabama. In his free time, he enjoys cycling and is always eager to learn new things. He shared that there’s always a new project happening in his world.

Q: What do you think are the best skills you bring to the job?
Dmitrius: I enjoy business and believe that the most important skill to have when working in accounting and finance for small to medium-sized businesses is understanding business as a whole. Cash flow is the lifeblood of a business, and effectively managing it requires an understanding of the factors that drive it.

Q: What motivates you in your work?
Dmitrius: Funding the next personal project.

Q: Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What did you want to be when you grew up?
Dmitrius: I wanted to be an architect and build luxurious homes.
