Viper Imaging Introduces Jason Styron
November 2025: Viper Imaging is pleased to introduce Jason Styron as our new Product Manager of Hardware, Software & Integrated Solutions.
Role and Vision
Jason will be responsible for leading our engineering and software teams. A key focus of his role will be collaborating closely with the sales team to enhance the customer experience. He will define our future product roadmap, ensuring the alignment of hardware, software, and integrated solutions from the broader Systems With Intelligence organization to deliver superior system solutions for our customers.
Experience & Expertise
Jason brings 30 years of experience in sales, sales leadership, business development, and product management – primarily within industrial controls, machine vision, and AI-related products. His background includes significant time with a global leader in thermal imaging cameras and sensors. While there, he not only earned the advanced Level I Thermographer certification from the Infrared Training Center but also established an important collaboration with the company’s line of automation products. Most recently, he worked with a manufacturer specializing in machine vision systems, software, and sensors for automated manufacturing.
Jason has a history of successful new product launches and notably developed a key partnership with the Rockwell Automation Encompass program. He has a deep understanding of infrared technology and how it applies to industrial applications. Combined with his collaborative approach and critical thinking, our customers will benefit from thoroughly developed system solutions and future product innovations. Jason is eager to develop processes that deliver unique and valuable solutions to the market.

Personal Background
Jason holds an electrical engineering degree from Auburn University. He resides in Woodstock, Georgia, with his wife, Deborah, and their three children, whom they enjoy watching compete in soccer, football, track, and lacrosse. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking and pickleball.

Q: Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What did you want to be when you grew up?
Jason: I wanted to be an NFL wide receiver.
Q: Tell us about your hometown.
Jason: Woodstock, Georgia, is a rapidly expanding area within metro Atlanta. It has a small-town feel with friendly people, good schools, an active downtown, and plenty of outdoor recreation.
Q: What motivates you in your work?
Jason: I like being part of a friendly team and working toward a common goal.
Q: What do you think are the best skills you bring to your job?
Jason: A mindset that values collaboration and support, paired with curiosity and critical thinking.
Q: What drew you to Viper Imaging?
Jason: I really enjoy industrial automation – especially vision-based thermal technology. We have cool products providing unique and valuable solutions to the market.
Q: When you’re not working, what are you happiest doing?
Jason: Family-related social time and adventurous activities.
Q: Complete this sentence: If I were a superhero, my superpower would be _____.
Jason: It would be teleportation—for myself, and anything or anyone I wanted to bring along. I enjoy traveling to new places, but I don’t like taking the time to get there.
Q: Are there any books, shows, or podcasts that you’d recommend to others?
Jason: While I don’t consider myself a reader, my family and I are dedicated Star Wars fans when it comes to shows! I also enjoy listening to podcasts to learn about whatever topic I’m currently focused on.
