Viper Imaging is thrilled to welcome Joe Barraco as our new Regional Sales Manager for the Western US, joining our team in September 2025. Joe will be a key partner for customers in Arizona, California, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

Joe brings over 15 years of experience in sales leadership, account management, and business development across the industrial AI, energy, and medical technology markets. His background in enterprise sales strategy and key account management, from pilots to multimillion-dollar rollouts, makes him uniquely qualified to help our customers achieve their goals and drive shared success.

He has a deep understanding of infrared technology and ISO-driven compliance, gained from his professional tenure at a company that develops and deploys intelligent solutions for PdM, manufacturing process control, and facility safety protocols. Joe stays current on the latest advancements in industrial monitoring technology by actively engaging with industry networks in AI, energy, and industrial automation.

Education & Family

Joe earned a Bachelor of General Studies degree from the University of Missouri. His education and career path have been highly entrepreneurial, blending formal training with practical experience. Based in his hometown of Columbia, Missouri, Joe and his wife are raising two daughters. He is deeply rooted in his community, balancing his career with coaching youth soccer and investing time in family traditions.

Q: Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What did you want to be when you grew up?

Joe: I wanted to be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.

Q: Tell us about your hometown.

Joe: I’m from Columbia, Missouri. It has that Midwest feel I love, but the universities and hospitals bring people from everywhere. This creates a real mix of perspectives and experiences, making the community stronger.

Q: What motivates you in your work?

Joe: I love creating solutions that bring people together. For me, the win is not just solving the problem, but building the bridge that carries everyone forward.

Q: What do you think are the best skills you bring to your job?

Joe: I don’t need to have all the answers. My strengths are listening, asking the right questions, and creating the space for smart people to work together toward solutions.

Q: What drew you to Viper Imaging?

Joe: I was drawn to the company’s vision of using advanced sensor technology to build something that feels like the future. Equally important was the culture, which was fun, detail-oriented, and caring enough to know each other’s families.

Q: When you’re not working, what are you happiest doing?

Joe: Sitting around a fire with friends and family, under dark skies full of stars, ideally by a river or creek.
