Viper Employee Spotlight: Cobey Meade
Cobey joined the Viper team in May 2020. While his title is Electrician, system production and installation keep him busy in his role at Viper. He cites problem-solving as one of the best skills he brings to the job, and we couldn’t agree more. The customers he has helped would say the same. Q: Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What did you want to be when you grew up?
Cobey: I wanted to be either an architect or an engineer. I’ve always loved building and designing.
Q: Tell us about your hometown.
Cobey: I’m from Ragland, Alabama. It is a very small one-stoplight town with not much to do, but it was a great place to grow up. We all knew each other and got along (for the most part, anyway).
Q: What motivates you?
Cobey: I want to be the best father and role model I can be for my son.
Q: What do you think are the best skills you bring to your job?
Cobey: I am very analytical and a pretty good problem solver.
Q: Why do you love working for Viper Imaging?
Cobey: It is a fun, close-knit group of people. What we do as a company provides new and interesting challenges daily.
Q: When you’re not working, what are you happiest doing?
Cobey: I love playing with my son, woodworking, and gaming.
Q: If we went to happy hour, what would you order?
Cobey: a screwdriver.

Q: Describe your perfect vacation.
Cobey: My perfect vacation would be staying in a cabin in Montana. I would enjoy being surrounded by nature, and the silence would be pretty great, too.
Cobey’s background includes electrical and industrial maintenance. He and his family reside in Munford, AL.
